ABOUT US

Salem-Peabody Oral Surgery was founded in 1959 by J. Myron Rosen, DMD.  Melrose-Wakefield Oral Sugery was founded in 1969 by Francis J. McNamara, Jr. DMD.  In 2003, Salem-Peabody and Melrose-Wakefield joined together to better provide the North Shore with oral surgery care.  In order to continue to provide excellent service to the North Shore of Boston and Southern New Hampshire, the surgeons of Salem-Peabody and Melrose-Wakefield Oral Sugery opened a new practice called Newburyport Oral Surgery in June of 2006.

Together our doctors have provided caring and painless oral & maxillofacial surgery for over 4 decades.  Our doctors and staff are dedicated to providing our patients with the highest level of oral & maxillofacial surgery in a warm and pleasant atmosphere.

We understand that surgery of any kind can be intimidating and frightening to people of all ages.  This is why we continuously focus on making every patient's experience a comfortable one.  Our surgeons and staff are fully trained and certified experts in pediatric and adult anesthesia techniques.

Our new, state-of-the-art facilities provide inviting reception and conference areas.  Addtionally, our managerial staff and offer every patient detailed information and clarification regarding his or her insurance benefits.

Our surgical suites include 15 comfortable and modern consultation and operative rooms as well as the latest in surgical and sterilization equipment.

In addition to providing excellent outpatient care, our surgeons also hold staff positions at North Shore Medical Center, North Shore Children's Hospital and Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.
