Meet Dr. Cooke

Vera D. Cooke, D.D.S., M.D. was born and raised in Serbia and then immigrated to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She attended Marquette University, where she obtained a B.A. in Biochemistry in 2000 and the Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2004. Dr. Cooke graduated Cum Laude from both the undergraduate and Dentistry programs.

She pursued training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. She obtained her M.D. degree from the University of Texas-Houston Medical School, where she was elected as a life-long member of the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honors Society recognizing her lasting commitment to scholarship, leadership, professionalism, and service.

Dr. Cooke practices a broad scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, with special emphasis on dental impactions, implants, oro-facial bone grafting, facial trauma, surgical pathology, and orthognathic surgery. She is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS), American Dental Association (ADA), and American Medical Association (AMA). She is an ACLS instructor, BLS, PALS, and ATLS certified.
