Meet Dr. Lucca

Mario Lucca, D.M.D, is a native to the Massachusetts North Shore. He attended St. Michael's College in Colchester, Vermont, where he graduated Cum Laude, obtaining a B.S. in biology with a minor concentration in philosophy.

Dr. Lucca received a doctorate in Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2002. In 2003, he completed a post graduate internship in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery. He provided private practice general dentistry in the greater Boston area and the North Shore from 2003 to 2006.

In 2010, Dr. Lucca completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He completed his general surgery and anesthesia training at Tufts Medical Center and Winchester and Lemuel Shattuck Hospitals. He received the Dr. Kenneth M. Stern Endowed Scholarship Award for clinical excellence and high ethical standards in 2010. Dr. Lucca has made multiple literary contributions with publications in the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the Journal of the Massachusetts Dental Society.

Dr. Lucca practices a broad range of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with special interest in dental implants, pre-prosthetic bone and soft tissue grafting, impacted 3rd molars, ambulatory anesthesia, orthognathic surgery, and minimally invasive facial cosmetic procedures.
